Dr. Genova was raised in Pueblo, Colorado.  Throughout her youth, she was an active member of 4-H and FFA.  She showed hogs and cattle and was on the livestock and meat judging teams...

Dr. Genova was raised in Pueblo, Colorado.  Throughout her youth, she was an active member of 4-H and FFA.  She showed hogs and cattle and was on the livestock and meat judging teams.  Dr. Genova attended junior college in Texas on a livestock judging scholarship and received her Animal Science Degree from Oklahoma State University.  Dr. Genova graduated from OSU with her DVM, and went on to complete an internship and residency in Food Animal Medicine and Surgery at Oklahoma State.  She was boarded in Large Animal Internal Medicine in 2011. She remained at OSU for an additional 6 months working with the food animal reproduction service.  She spent a year at a busy mixed animal practice at Alvarado Vet Clinic in Texas.  She accepted a position as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Food Animal Medicine and Surgery at Mississippi State for two years before returning to Oklahoma to start her own practice.  Dr. Genova has a passion for show and performance animals.  Dr. Genova has a strong interest in all things medicine and surgery, bovine lameness/foot trims, and post-injury rehabilitation, as well as alternative therapeutic modalities.

Katlin McCuan is a licensed veterinary technician originally from St. Louis, Missouri. She showed hunter jumpers while growing up and worked at an equestrian center. Katlin attended Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky and received her BS in Agriculture and Animal Health Technology while minoring in Equine Science. While at Murray State she was a member of the Hunt team and captain of the Western Pleasure and Reining team. After graduation Katlin, moved to Starkville, MS and was employed at Mississippi State where she was the head technician in both the equine and food animal departments.
